SuperCon's Finest, An Interview With Creator Jeramy Hobbs..."Lets Talk TRASH!"
by Ron Kerronian
While trolling the aisles and reviewing some of the fine works and talents at SuperCon this past summer, I almost neglected a young talent that exists right in our very own Indy Comic Creators Worldwide (ICCW) membership, Jeramy Hobbs. I've heard Jeramy's name in passing, but had no idea that his work was of such high quality, the art is classic Grunge and Punk mixed into a glue of current social elements...elements that affect or have affected almost every American within recent years.

SuperCons Finest An Interview With Creator Jeramy Hobbs
The story of TRASH is one that is all-consuming, the characters are rich in genuine personality (which most stories lack), you will be able to relate to one or more of these characters...you will be able to feel the sincerity in the pencils as well as the storytelling. The story has a masterful introduction of the cast members, an introduction reminiscent of classic freeze frame motion pictures, which is ironic since this is a comic book.

Jeramy Hobbs creator of TRASH.
The book is more than just panel after panel of meaningless art, the art complements the story; and what a story it is. Unlike many books that infuse the page with tons of art and leave you wanting more story, each page is stuff ed with literary nuggets that are bound leave you wanting more. If there is one book worth reading this year, I say it is Jeramy Hobbs', TRASH!

An artist is someone who produces things that people don't need to have but that he - for some reason - thinks it would be a good idea to give them. ~Andy Warhol
