The Forgotten Ornament
By Erik Daniel Shein, Martin Reker (Editor), Lina Safar (Illustrator)

Synopsis
This Christmas tale tells the the story of Willie Bear, a broken ornament who can't participate in a magical event, where all of the intact ornaments acquire the ability to speak at midnight Christmas Eve. Willy is eventually placed on the tree, and he shares with other ornaments (Beverly's pets of past times) their wonderful connection. He helps them fulfill their wishes, as each receives a special gift for the Holiday.

On a side note: All the animal characters featured in The Forgotten Ornament and subsequent titles are animals that Mr. Shein has rescued from either abuse or neglect. This is one of the driving factors behind his development of S.W.E.E.T. Southwest World Educational Environmental Trust. This Non-profit organization is in the process of gaining funds to build a preserve and animal park devoted to the preservation and protection of all the world's flora and fauna.
